Is 40 the new 20?

Thank goodness for being alive in this day and age. Microwaves. Cell phones. Filler and Botox, oh my!

How lucky we are to be able to turn back the clock and extend our youth far past the generation before us. I remember my mother showing me a picture of her mother, hanging clothes on a clothesline in the back yard. I wondered how old she was when the picture was taken, she appeared to be fairly elderly.

Mom said she was 45 at the time. 45! Holy Moly! What was going on back then?

I continue to marvel at the movie star examples set by such stars as Tom Cruise, age 49, Halle Berry, 44, Brad Pitt, 47, Julia Roberts, 44 Robert Downey, Jr. 45, Sandra Bullock, 46, Will Smith, 43, Jennifer Aniston, 42.

What exactly is going on here? Are these people sleeping in oxygen tents? Have they made some sort of deal to stop the hands of time? Are they not human?!
