Well it’s a plain as the’ you know what’ on your face. There it is again. Your sunglasses perch. Some people love theirs, others not so much. What to do if it is your least favorite feature? Dr. Chiu to the rescue!!!
Not all facial fixes require surgery; one of the hot new trends these days is the ‘non surgical nose job’. What is that exactly? Thanks to the recent innovations in fillers, Dr. Chiu is able to inject Radiesse, filler that is long lasting and will help create a bridge or fullness to a flatter nose. It is not a forever fix, but will give up to a year and a half change to your face. The filler in Radiesse is suspended in calcium spheres; they eventually dissolve and encourage your own collagen to grow. The syringe is extra large (1.5 vs. .8 ml) and looks a little like calk for grout. Is Dr. Chiu going to calk my face? The advantage of the larger syringe is…more product! More bang for your buck!
If your problem is more reduction than a build up, the best route is surgical. Dr. Chiu’s most popular surgery for the face is rhinoplasty. I have seen countless patients come in for their pre-op, followed by their surgery, and post-op. How many patients have I seen with a bandage and splint? Countless!
